Sun risen fire,
Only to end with desire.
Because lust is the power,
That gives us will to devour:
To devour a loveless heart,
Only to tear us apart.
Drowning in a sea of emotion,
Only to blame the fatal feeling of passion.
Like a two-sided face,
Now we must hide with disgrace.
Because when we look over,
It better be at someone other:
Other than,
Of a similar body.
Other than,
Of a similar tree.
The mirror image is banned,
From the alter within our hearts.
If anyone ever asked me,
I'd wish we never loved from the start.
Daddy locked us up in the basement,
Then yelled at us to stay quiet.
He hurt sister and then mommy,
Yet no one must know about it.
Hardly with any clothes on,
Scratches and bruises showing.
Sad part was there were only two towels,
So I gave them up, shivering.
We slept on the ground,
While daddy meandered around the above floor.
Before I once had a love for this family,
But now I am not even sure anymore.
I stayed up till the morning light,
To make sure they slept abound.
Still I lie awake and write,
Of a poem with a story so profound.
Every day I live,
Yet I regret every breath.
Sometimes I forget,
I have a reason to avoid death.
Too weak, too tired,
To even move around.
It feels like quicksand,
Is pulling my feet into the ground.
Every step that I take,
Every move that I make,
Causes me to tremble,
And even start to shake.
Say goodbye to my hair,
My speech,
And my muscles
I live with nothing but false hope,
As for there is no cure for this puzzle.
At least I can think,
But as for my children, they cannot.
Suffering from a physical disability and mental retardation,
Sometimes it gets to be a lot
But what did I do?
This was never my wish.
To me...
...She is the wind and the stars,
And the beauty of the night.
My antidote and pill;
The person that makes me feel alright.
The person that turns,
My whole world around.
Brings it back up,
And turns it upside down.
Her smile coincides,
With the creasent moon.
And her eyes like the wishing stars,
I depend on to see her soon.
She lights up the sky,
And moves with the ocean's tides.
She spins around in my heart,
As I open my arms out wide.
Though I know she shall lie,
In someone else's light,
I will be happy as long...
...as she lies smiling tonight.
Her eyes compromise the sunrise,
Her smile is such a desirable surprise.
The sky starts to rain due to her pain,
I'd walk a thousand miles to unlock this chain.
I want to grab hold of her highlighted token,
And stare into her soul, not yet broken.
An innocence so pure; the chosen one I'm sure,
An angel of God that I truly adore.
Every soul, though, will break,
And shall learn what they can take,
But she will lie free.
Every person, though, is fake,
And think for their own sake,
Except for only me...
Because with a beautiful soul as hers,
I feel the love that Cupid allures,
Because it when it comes to her...
...My heartbreak e
Explain to me how,
Every face describes beauty,
Every smile defines simplicity,
Every heart complimenting a whole.
Explain to me how,
Every person is pure,
Every lie is made with truth, I'm sure,
Every body engraved with perfection.
Explain to me how,
Every human has given respect,
Every talent received a gift,
Every baptism has cleansed the soul.
Explain to me how,
All this is possible,
With every person exceeding passable,
When you still cannot accept your very own reflection.
Oh red rose bush,
Sick and mild.
You always stood alone,
By a happy child.
Running around the garden,
To every tree that was near.
But for a deformity you own,
Being rejected is now a fear.
Your thorns, they spike,
And pierce her till she bleeds.
But deep inside, you know,
A good heart is all you need.
But you are different from the flowers,
The trees and the bushes.
As you sit alone and smile,
You cry undecided wishes.

INT. HOSPITAL- NIGHT
A tall dark haired woman in her mid-thirties walks in to a hospital room. She is very pretty. She is wearing a grey jacket, dark blue jeans, and black boots. She is also holding a purse.
She reaches a bed where a blonde woman is laying. The woman is sick and hooked up to all these machines.
DARK HAIRED WOMAN
Hey THEO, how are you doing?
The sick woman, Theo, is staring up at the ceiling. Her blue eyes look lifeless. She says nothing.
DARK HAIRED WOMAN
It's me, ROSE. Are you ok?
Theo still says nothing.
ROSE
I got you these.
Rose reaches in to her purse and holds out a box of candy.

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaning
So...I would truly love to apply to as many scholarships as possible. Especially those for writing. It is always worth a shot, am I right? Some I can apply to just for being FEMALE! Which I think is quite interesting if I might say so. xD But I was actually interested in applying for scholarships an LGBT can only apply for. Problem is: my dad is beyond homophobic and my mother, even though she knows, would rip my throat off (exaggeration). I also am aware that to apply to these things, you'd have to be "out of the closet" but of course I have the main worries: What job will I get? Will I be able to just study and work without the criticism? W
